Breeding of agricultural plants, rice in particular, is a fundamental factor providing the country's population with sufficient amount high-quality products. Hence, level breeding achievements and technologies determines food security country competitiveness industry international market. The scientifically based introduction new, better varieties into production contributes to growth not only yield, but also an increase yield products improvement its quality. Therefore, role variety as means modern agriculture undoubtedly important. paper presents results program on developing large-grain Vector, capable forming high grain - 9.0-10.0 t/ha technological indicators 89.5% head content 69.8% total milling which conversion approximately 62.4% mass. At same time, new according size, belongs category mass 1000 grains 34.5 g average filminess 17.7% vitreousity 83.5%. Also, during study period (2020-2022) resistance Pyricularia pathogen was found natural conditions. With artificial infection, disease development index averaged 37.0%, corresponds medium resistance.
